Dutch apple pie

I think we will be eating this pie for a week. It is very tasty but just far too big for two people. I really don’t know why I didn’t make it half size. The casing is a cross between pastry and cake and goes very well with the spicy apples which are all eaters. I think I might try freezing what’s left.

It has been a beautiful sunny day which is always good for lifting the spirits.
