Christening

A delightful surprise at church this morning.  A christening!  The parents are fairly new members of our congregation, an Indian family, and they were dressed up to the nines in their traditional clothing.  It was really lovely.  The whole congregation was given a bottle of water each, which we emptied into the font.

It was so moving, and I'm glad I was able to take this quick snapshot.  I didn't dare take any more.
