Afternoon in DC

...meeting up with Marti & Jason (W's sister and brother-in-law), who are here for a conference. It was great to see them, even briefly. Had a snack in the beautiful American Indian Museum, walked through some rooms at the National Gallery to locate a Salvador Dali painting and sit by the big fountain for a moment, and took the metro to Clarendon for dinner. Talked with some of the protestors marching in support of Palestinians.
