A Good Drying Day

Hella windy. There may be a little storm coming in. I did some weeding and trimming in the beautiful sunshine—it was so wonderful to be outside and doing something! The garden is in transition; thinking about winter vegetables and garlic, pruning and planting perennials. We made a fine pizza for dinner, and midway through my second piece I felt a very large pebble in my mouth, which turned out to be a detached gold crown.  I probably can’t get in to see the dentist til Monday, so I’ve got a few meals of being very very careful.  All that swearing you hear is me. There are prohibitions against dental work for a month following ablation surgery, so that complicates things a little. Hopefully it’s a quick fix that doesn’t count. At least it doesn’t hurt.
