Bumble Bee Residence

This unlikely pile of concrete slabs and bricks has become home to a little gang of bumble bees. If you look very closely you can see one of the residents. I was so thrilled to see them coming and going that I went on my knees on soggy ground to try to get a decent shot, I was there so long that my toes got cramp.

I harvested the potatoes from the greenhouse, they shared the pot with yesterday's sunflower, they were very nice and I can use the space for the tomato plants.

We had rain all morning, then a grey but dry afternoon. More rain forecast.
