Creeking

Beauty in the wind.

This beauty comes under the inspiring name of 'fragrant rose cerise' ! It is our second rose to open this season. Our first , 'fragrant rose red', was unfortunately rather too bruised, by the strong overnight wind and rain, to make the photo shoot.
Some of our other roses have more imaginative names as you may see if I manage to capture them when they open.

Today has been another windy day with frequent spells of rain. Our cat has not been too impressed ..... she has been left throwing her toys around to get rid of some energy. Each dry spell we all rush out to a few outside tasks before we retreat with the next squall. I really hope that summer has not left for good.

For those of you who may have missed it, I back blipped the début of the Elephant Hawk Moth. Saturday 4th May.
