Whitby

By Saturday morning Storm Babet had blown through. Local council workers cleared the slipway by the west pier of washed up tree trunks and branches. The sea is still broiling white.

Albert & I shared lunch from Silver Street fisheries. We watched tv together, racing from Ascot, Strictly and the rugby semi. On Sunday we plan to walk along the beach to Sandsend.
