Jacaranda Pic

The Herald ran a piece yesterday on the best spots in Sydney for viewing jacarandas, a pastime once restricted to Grafton - country home of the jacaranda festival, a Miss Jacaranda pageant and a mascot with, if I recall correctly, the ridiculous name of Jacaranda Jill. She’s a 1.8m/6 foot tall kewpie doll.

Ashmore St doesn’t appear on the map of jacaranda hotspots but it’s definitely been discovered.
