The Morning After Much Recent Rain

We've had a soaking over the last few days, but thankfully the 71mm of rain we've enjoyed over the last 4 days hasn't left us with flooding, unlike so many others who have been made homeless.

Early this morning, the dampness and chill of an autumn morning hung close to the fields and as ever, the phone camera failed to capture what the eye saw however much I tried to tweak it in post.
