Horses on the Beach

We went down to the arcades with J and D - these days arcades are largely filled with video games. although they did have an air hockey table and we played a few games - I remained undefeated. The others played a racing game and then we had a short go on the two-penny falls for a bit of nostalgia. Afterwards D headed home to catch up on some work but we went with J for tea and scones in a hotel. Excellent scones and quirky decor. In the evening we went out for a meal in J and D's favourite Saltburn restaurant. The weather was starting to turn nasty, as Storm Babet arrived. The forecast for the next day meant we changed our travel plans to stay another night.
