Beach Umbrella

It’s good to get out even if the weather isn’t entirely conducive to walking along the beach. West Shore is overwhelmingly grey, and just as I set off with my camera, the heavens open.

While we’ve got off lightly in terms of Storm Babet, the flooded boating lake has been transformed into a mini inland sea. The sea wall walk now appears more akin to the Cobb at Lyme Regis along which a few souls brave the elements, a lone umbrella the only splash of colour in an almost monochrome landscape. It’s such a contrast to the sunset I photographed here two years ago https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2897624751465827480.

Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s mono orchestra set - as always, very much appreciated.
