I found myself watching Rick Stein's Seafood Odyssey when I got back. The series was first broadcast in 1999 when it was considered quite innovative. It's interesting how his repertoire has become part of our culinary language.
I draw the line at deep fried tempura oysters though. I prefer them au naturelle.
