I booked a secure dog field near Fairlight to let the dogs have a run round off lead. We picked up Simon and his girlfriend on the way through Hastings. After the pack had dug up the molehills, barked at the cows in the next field, sniffed the sniffs and ran through the long grass we went to the country park for a cuppa. The cafe was dire (cold tea and too long a queue to bother with lunch) but the views are amazing. We could see to Eastbourne to the west, Dungeness power station and the white cliffs to the east and France across the sparkling sea. Happy and tired dogs :)

And yes, Emily did go through the tunnel. Piggy and Storm didn’t fancy it.
