Early bird!

I usually get in early (mainly just so I can chill out with a coffee for a bit!) but I was actually the first in today. No doubt everyone else was coming in a little later than usual, due to the late night we’d had yesterday at our sixth form open evening.

The school I used to work at doesn’t have a sixth form and loads of my old students turned up, checking out what we have to offer for A levels. I hadn’t even thought about that, even though both schools are fairly close, so it was a nice surprise to see them.

Every time one of them said they missed me or that I’d been their favourite teacher, I pointed at my new boss and told them to tell her. ;-)

Note: They always say that when you’re not there any more!
