Was it REALLY necessary?

I was "informed" recently, in the form of a pop-out window onthe screen, of an impending update.
       To be brutally honest they updated considerably more one of the famous - BUTs - I suspect many of us have/had already chosen a screen-saver &/or were relatively happy with what we had/chose.  WHY, four Forks ACHE, did they need to further gum up the works with another.
       That said, I'm sufficiently happy with this one; which starts on the bottom pic. the, 'flies' slowly along to the upper pic.  I may very well chuck out (uninstall)   ;¬)  the one I have.
