Fair Exchange from Babet?

With so much rain over the last four days, ‘Loch Occasional’ has formed again and the water is draining over The Policis before draining through the entrances  and over  the road.

There are many road closures in the area.

Babet broke the main branch of one our Oak Trees and it is lying in the loch. No doubt the farmer will cut it up for firewood.

Blue skies and sun have returned, but it will take several days for the ground to dry out. After that clearing up all the broken branches and leaf debris will take several days.

Babet has been the worst weather event in this area for several years and yet we have faired well than many other areas.
