At the opening...

...of the theme exhibition of the Association of Finnish Camera Clubs in Oulainen. Jarmo, one of the most accomplished photographers in these circles shooting a portrait of Salla, the most successful junior photographer of the exhibition.

The first part of the opening ceremony was held in a movie theatre near the railway station, a great place to see the digital photos. I received a diploma for one of my own photos as well as the award of the best photo on behalf of another member of our club. Then we moved on to the hotel, next to which was a former little school building where the prints exhibition was hung. A great place to see the photos and talk with other guests. The latter obviously continued in the dinner party later in the evening.
