Bamburgh Half

Storm Babet buggered off and left a beautiful day over North Britain. I left Edinburgh at 6:45 heading back to Bamburgh to run the half-marathon there.

After picking up my number I headed onto the beach for a wee jog before the race start. 447 set off around the closed roads of Northumberland. I started well but faded after halfway and settled onto the backwards travelator as faster runners overtook. Nevertheless I was still happy with my finish time, 1h38min.
