A decorating day... 
The walls in this particular room continue to offer (unpleasant) surprises: after many days of wallpaper stripping, hole filling, sanding, scrubbing clean, &c., the walls seemed ready for priming and painting, but the roller then lifted several patches of (crumbly) plaster from the wall! How did they survive all the previous wall work!?
