Real life artist!

I don't often blip about family or friends - blipping, for me, is about extending my thinking and range as a photographer.

However...

...this is my niece Gillian, snapped today at the desk where she has studied for the past four years. She has put in 12 hours a day, seven days a week for the past six months working on her art. It really has paid off as she graduates from the University of Glasgow's prestige School of Art tomorrow afternoon with a FIRST CLASS Honors degree in Textiles.

The rest of us are a bit thick so unsure where she gets the brains from! Proud uncle time!!!

Apart from her smartness, Gillian is one of the nicest human beings on the planet - a girl that cares for everyone and has a heart of gold.

Gillian joined blip last week as "Gillianlouise" but she has yet to blip anything.
