A pair of pears

My crop of pears has not been great this year. I have eaten 2 which weren't quite ripe enough, got these 2 in the fruit bowl and there are 4 more left on the tree.
 It has been a day of steady rain so I have been catching up on some TV and putting the final touches to a few crafty bits that have been laying unfinished for a few weeks now.
