Hung out at home today and was generally unproductive which felt good. I took Nina and some of her neighborhood friends to the park and let them run wild. It was fun to watch them negotiate games, rules, and collectively rule on outcomes. I’m pretty sure adult systems of governance are pretty much made of the same stuff.

Finished Wednesday with Nina. And we both really enjoyed it. Nina Avery Ashton and I started an animated scifi series called Scavenger Reign. Feels like a mix of Miyazaki’s eco fiction Nausicaa and psychological thriller Aliens. I snuck and watched a couple more episodes after the kids went to bed for which I will definitely be in trouble tonight.
