Hands that have held me!

I often sit and hold my lovely Mum’s hand and she’ll often reach out to mine. These hands have done so much for me over 70 years and I’m so grateful for this. As I looked at this nearly 95 year old hand today I thought of all the things it’s done. She’s got a baby blanket on her knee that is 46 years old as it was first used by our eldest son, then his brother, my niece used it for her dolls when she came to our house, our granddaughter used it for her dolls and now Mum is keeping cosy with it. Where will be used after Mum?
