Dove Stone Reservoir

Everybody was doing it ….. walking round Dove Stone Reservoir. The photo is the picturesque Ashway Gap.

RSPB membership card covers payment for the  Car Park, I had forgotten that.

Very busy, I guess it must be half-term already for some, one more week for the kids on our street.

Shooting in progress (Grouse ?  Pheasant? Anything ?) footpaths closed around Yeoman Hey Reservoir.   Peregrine flyover over.

Drove home the long way over Saddleworth Moor and it was out of sunshine and into cloud then through Holmfirth to find the Hade Edge road closed so went around to Carlecotes to get back to Dunford Bridge and down an exceptionally busy Woodhead Pass - heavy traffic in both directions for mile after mile.
