Chloe at Linlithgow Palace.

This afternoon MaggieD and I took Chloe over to Linlithgow for a walk around the Loch. Must admit I was a little disappointed with the lack of water fowl, mallard duck, mute swans, a couple of geese and loads of gulls but no grebe, tufted ducks or goldeneyes. However, it was pleasing to see that some of the scaffolding had been removed from the front of the palace (but not yet the back). Todays extra is a bit of a before and after. The upper half shows the east front as it is today and the lower half as it was a few hundred years ago.
