"Happy Monday!"

On the plus side, I guess someone won't have to cycle in the rain this evening... 

It's a costly lesson: having a cryptonite-lock-that-even-Superman-can't-break won't do much good unless you lock the frame of the bike. And have a length of extra thick cable locking the wheels connected to the cryptonite-lock-that-even-Superman-can't-break. And two armed guards with earpieces scanning the surrounding area. 

On a side note, we have a particularly chirpy colleague who never misses an opportunity to shout "happy Monday!" whenever we meet her on a corridor (even though we try some lengthy detours). Each time I can see No Chat Pat recoil. He doesn't do chirpy. Especially not on a Monday. 
The worse part is the count down to the end of the week when she screams even livelier "happy Friday!!!" to each and every person she meets. 
For some reason we are spared Happy Tuesday, Happy Wednesday and Happy Thursday. These must be the days when she actually gets some work done. When she is not on one of her lengthy coffee breaks.
