A dark sky but no rain. It stopped sometime overnight. Finally. The digging was easy but muddy. We planted parrot tulip, Persian lily and ambassador allium bulbs. Bricks were placed on top to deter curious, fluffy tailed gray critters from stealing them. I’ll remove them before the first snow fall. The bricks not the squirrels • Planting bulbs is an investment in our future. Like bulbs our optimism sprouts and grows and blooms.
