Speirs Wharf

Today's walk was from the city centre to Maryhill and back via the West End. The walk along the Glasgow branch of the Forth and Clyde Canal was very peaceful despite being so close to the road. The Partick Thistle groundskeepers were hard at work as we passed Fir Hill.

Despite having played about a dozen games since the start of the season, this evening was our club's first league game. Himself and I are in the same team which doesn't happen very often. We started well but our opponents caught up and we ended up peels (a draw).
