The clear up begins

I beautiful frosty morning and I was able to get washing out (and almost dry) before starting to tackle the debris on the grass - "lawn" is too posh for this bit of our garden. I filled half the large brown bin before deciding it was time to rest the back, and Mr Rat came out later and raked up the smaller bits and piled the bigger ones. The brown bins will be filled twice over, I think, good job they're emptied this week.
Got my trousers almost finished, did some cross-stitch and prepared a stew before going out for a pre-run run. I did 5 miles in the parks with a lot of debris and tree avoidance and another 5 miles round the streets with the group, it was quite a good way to fit in a long run.
