Travels and Talks

A working day followed by a drive/train up to Leeds this evening. Cancelled trains added a bit of extra faff but I’m here anyway with a fine view from the 17th floor of the hotel. A frame average long exposure using the EvenLonger iPhone app.

It was a night out at the theatre for me (Annie) while Chris is away. Professor Turi King was talking about her work as a genetic genealogist, which was fascinating. Her stories ranged from the tales of people wanting to trace relatives to the identification of the skeleton of Richard III. She’s a great speaker - so interesting and funny to listen to.
