Lights on but no one home

My friends daughter took this pic & sent it to me, she is staying at her mum & dads whilst they are away.

I said to her “I hope I haven’t got squatters lol” …….. it does look cosy all lit up :-)

Presumably the workmen were in there doing “something” or other. I’ve been told that we are at “final fix” stage, which means doors being hung, skirting boards etc. being fitted.

Doesn’t mean to say I’ll be moving in pre early Dec though as the scaffolding of the house being built behind mine is currently where ultimately my driveway will be….. hence the moving in early Dev, which has always been the projected date.

Been across to Bolton & back, collected my car….. all ok, but very disappointed to find they hadn’t washed it let alone valeted it! It’s usually always sparkling when you collect after a service etc. so I will be giving them my feedback, as they have had it for 2 weeks rather than 2 days!!

Also managed to finally settle on my new sofa, dining table & chairs,so they have been ordered too :-)
