Land of purple

Such a lovely time of year, although I am sure the people tasked with sweeping up the petals would agree.

Lots done workwise but later home than I had hoped so I didn't have a chance to go for a wander with the hairy hounds, who have earned the title of hoolies when you see what they have done to our garden.  I did get their usual enthusiastic welcome though, Mr Watson has. developed an interesting wiggly welcome which is very cute whereas Millie has a more in your face approach.  

They do make me smile.
