Sunset over Suburbia

Struggling all day for a chance to take a shot - again! So windy and wet - again! Tried the garden - again! All in vain.

Then I spotted some light in the West, no it wasn't an alien invasion, but the start of a sunset. So the highest place in our house, facing West is our loft.

A bit of a dilemma, it was almost 9pm and we were set to watch the horizon programme about cats and I had no blip. Luckily, I'd set to tape it, so off I clambered up into the loft and here I sat for about 30 minutes watching the changing sky.

This is the result. How lucky!
