Napoleon III 10 franc gold coin, 1867.
I blipped this coin for a TinyTuesday a year or more ago, but I thought it was due a repeat appearance using my Sigma 105 macro lens instead of extension rings, and the focus stacking in the EOS R6 Mk2 instead of dotting around with focus spots.
The coin has also taken an ‘old gold’ look, but I won’t be cleaning it.
The process was so much easier, even though the camera took five times the number of shots that I would have taken manually. Merged in Affinity and processed in PS as ever.
Quiet day today as it’s half term and Biskit’s with his siblings.
Many thanks to PinkHairedLady for hosting TinyTuesday this month.
