Surprise surgery!

Catching up from Yesterday:
So it turns out this lump I've got is a bit more serious than I'd thought.
It was giving me huge grief over night, and I was in an enormous amount of pain. If Steve didn't have an exam in the morning, I would have gone to A&E, but i didn't want to put that on him!
I stuck it out and went to the GP in the morning, who took one look at my nasty abscess and sent me straight to A&E.
After a lot of waiting, a lot of discomfort, and finding out that the damn thing had started to poison my blood, I was given a general anaesthetic and they dealt with the beast!!!
