Villeneuve, Les Grangettes Hide

The view was extraordinary this evening after a day of torrential rain! I was alone at the hide and saw 2 kingfishers (1 in extras) but from a distance, and several juvenile cormorants practicing their wing drying techniques. The tree in the centre is on Queen Victoria’s Island. 

The Dents du Midi were quite stunning on the way home so put that in as an extra too.  I really enjoyed a day of rain, did a lot of admin, sorted out my gear for going to the Camargue on Thursday while the cats slept all day. David is much better and I am still clear of the dreaded covid.
