A change of plan

Kate and Oscar were coming over and we were going to Quarry Bank Mill. Problem number 1 an accident on the M6 so they didn't get here until nearly 11. Problem number 2 Rain!!!! Problem number 3 roadworks and a 1 hr trip. I had an idea that instead of going to QBM we go up the road to the works and Oscar chooses some activities to do at home. We would still have a picnic on the carpet in the living room. He loved it. He chose this paint by numbers, a football activity box, a word search book and a paint by numbers canvas that he can do later in the week. he helped make the picnic. After he finished the picture we walked to the shop for some fresh air it was still very damp.
