Nipped to store

We do most of our shopping at Tesco but Morrisons was handy to nip to for a cooked chicken today. I was dismayed to see the label says use within 2 hours, or if you put it straight in the fridge (it was piping hot) you can use it up to 24 hours from purchase! Why would anyone buy a whole roast chicken at £6:50 to eat within 2 hours?
Anyway, I digress. I didn't plan to buy Baileys and in fact have been buying Morrisons Irish Cream which is much cheaper and just as good, but Baileys was on offer at £13 for a litre bottle. Had to buy one - but then I grabbed a second one before heading for the tills!
Did a little bit of cleaning today and not a lot else. Yesterday's caching trip took it out of me. Not just the 15,000 plus steps, more the hills plus the crouching and bending to get in awkward places. Not to mention the falling over! Had a restless night re hip and back pain but tried to keep things moving today in hope the pain and stiffness would ease off. Had a nap late afternoon and feel a lot better this evening. Ready for another walk tomorrow.
