Project

I had a yearning for pumpkin soup at the weekend, so yesterday I picked up these wee chaps. 

A project for a wet day. We get plenty of those. 

Today has been busy and productive, but it is getting to the time of year when my aversion to the dark months really starts to kick in. 

I did get out into the garden briefly in the late afternoon to rake/brush leaves in the front garden. For some reason they do not accumulate there in the same way as the back garden, so I had just ignored the front on Sunday. 

Now it looks presentable again, in a scruffy kind of way. 

Perhaps the most important thing I did today was start the process for donating my brain for medical research. I wonder if they will want it?
