2023 Monday — Going Home
Some days take longer than others; this was one of those days.
We were told at approximately 10:00 this morning that Mr. Fun would be released from the hospital.
This has been a good day. He was moved early in the day to a private room. He got a few hours of quality sleep; a lot of final instructions, a filled pharmacy order, and one last glance from the hospital window at the sun setting.
More than a couple people have asked me, “What do the doctors say caused this swelling episode?” What I know is that the doctors are not saying. Their focus has been on the solution, not the cause. They have explained how to avoid having this happen again — low sodium diet, limited liquid, stay active, walk often. Oh, and take the prescribed meds.
What I believe is that God still has plans for Mr. Fun on earth. Our Heavenly Father has projects for him to do.
I watched this afternoon as a parade of hospital workers came to his room to say “Farewell” and wish him well; everyone likes Mr. Fun.
Please continue to pray for him, his body needs a lot of healing. And thank you each one for your concern; your comments; you are all the best.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
