We have come over to the East Coast for an appointment on Friday (for our car, not us for a change!) in Dunedin. Our friends have a beach house in a small community north of Dunedin, and suggested we stay for a few nights. It’s a fabulous wee place.

We had a leisurely trip over, and once we unpacked, we went for a wonderful 90 minute walk that included the length of the beach, the headlands back via a seaside track home. 
Frida got frightened by an encounter with a seal that none of us spotted…and then seagulls started dive bombing Jill and I- we must have been too close to their nests….so an exciting, and beautiful coastal walk.
