Dawn
It was a beautiful evening last night and I at 10 o'clock I was up standing on a chair trying to capture the remnants of sunset, but trees got in the way. But I went to bed with the blinds open and R4 on.
When I do that and fall asleep with the radio on I wake up later on when R4 has morphed into the World Service. I woke at 3.15 in the middle of an interview with Lindy Chamberlain when she got to the bit when the dingo took Azaria. this was followed by the 2 Dutch sisters who have just retired as Amsterdam prostitutes, in their 70's. The World Service in the middle of the night is a wonderful gallimaufry.
But I stayed up, trying to capture the dawn and being scuppered by more trees. But the sky was amazing from deep crimson at 3.15 to bright yellow and pink by 5. This is 4.45.
It was a fairly quiet day in the office but quite a bit of toing and froing on the domestic front. I am not sure where to go with this now. A conversation meant no tea but I made it to the Cameo in time for 'The Audience'. It was great and Dame Helen was stupendous as was Hadyn Gwynne playing Mrs Thatcher. But the Cameo was uncomfortably hot.
Home alone again.
