A Good Alternative
We had originally planned to head up to Loch Lubnig for our weekly wander, but a quick check in the morning for a weather update meant a change in plan. The weather down the East Lothian coast was a dryer bet so we headed down to the Walled Garden at the Archerfield Estate. Our usual walk takes to Dirleton then to Yellowcraigs beach (There was a BBC film crew shooting a ‘small film’ according to someone we spoke to) then along the beach to North Berwick and this is where I took the Blip. The storm, Babet I think they called it, that was Thursday to Sunday last week has thrown up tonnes of kelp along the beach but I’m not sure about why all the seagulls are flocking, never seen like.
On our way back from NB we walked past the house in the extra with its guardian witch, a decent effort by any measurable standard.
A decent walk 30000+ steps, 21km and neither was it rainy or cold.
