Second, again

I didn't expect to do well last night as the judge is renouned for being harsh.  We mark out of 21 and I got 16 for my first image but made it through to the ones that are held back with my second picture (posted here on 25th May).  He gradually whittled them down to the last two and I was pipped to the post by Faye, who has beaten me to top spot AGAIN.  Anyway that's a good start to the season.

Faye's picture of Bailey is my son and his partner's dog.  Faye is a brilliant animal photographer.

Our next competition is "Mono", which I'm hopeless at.

It's sunny this afternoon, although the forecast was for rain all day.  I should have been out for a walk but only got as far as my friend's house, where our other friend joined us for coffee and a natter.
