San Lorenzo courtyard

Staying mostly in today to watch Mum’s progress and make sure she eats, drinks and moves enough. Just as well, because she would have completely forgotten to go to lunch if I hadn’t gone to her room to fetch her.
The image  is the courtyard of the place where we are staying, taken from the side where my mother’s room is, the part that is a residence for self-sufficient elderly persons. We’re on the other side, the side that has the reflecting windows and that is the hotel/guesthouse side. And in the distance Jesus overlooks the city centre from the top of the bell tower of the Church of the Santissima Trinita. There are churches on almost every corner over here.
