Communal laundry, Infiesto

Before the houses had running water, and after the river went out of fashion, people, usually of course the women, had access to communal laundries. They varied considerably, and this, in Infiesto, is the most photogenic that I´ve seen. It´s been well conserved. Half way up, on the left hand margin, you can see the individual water-supply taps.
