Worcester

We met up at 11am with our friends, Steve & Julia, at Worcester Warriors Rugby Club car park just off the M5 in Worcestershire (England UK) to do a cycle ride along the canal.

After a few miles, and a coffee stop, we were in Worcester City Centre infront of the Cathedral which I've blipped as it fits in with this weeks     W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme of 'bricks or stones'.  The Cathedral dates from 1084AD and a good read is here

We did intend to cycle further up the River Severn to Upton but the river had seriously flooded due to the recent rains and the footpaths were covered, so we cycled the opposite direction along the canal towards Birmingham, and at Fir Tree Farm and coffee shop had a cuppa before geting back to our car and home by 4pm. A lovely sunny day!
