Abbey Days

D, Dotty and I had a lovely couple of hours wandering around Bury St Edmunds. It was market day and we ended up with lots of plants as, as well as the plant stalls on the market, the friends of Bury Abbey were selling huge, well established plants from the abbey gardens. Obviously they could have been crooks who just dug up a load of shrubs and flogged them to innocent passers by but as I ended up with a huge bag of penstemon, salvia and rudbeckia for a fiver, I don’t really care. Haha!
Dotty was on her best behaviour and got lots of attention.
Later this afternoon D and I went out to look at Mazdas as I have to change my car in the new year.
