Feet on the floor

Big improvement but small steps. Brett got the iv tube removed yesterday. His doctor told him he had to walk four times a day. Jerry was here this morning for the first two trips along the hallways and we just completed his second trip with me. Without using the walker for part of it. One of his nurses saw him and told him to walk the last half without it. He did good.

He was able to have a turkey sandwich today. A questionable cheese pizza coming for supper. He is a pizza lover so he is really skeptical about the taste.

A couple more tubes and things to get cleared up but we are all hoping and praying tomorrow will be his last full day here.


Pray for poop! It has to happen!
