Bricks

With a stone pit and some stonemasons in our village it would have been easy to find stone today. Although most houses are plastered and the streets mostly of tarmac, this would have been sufficient for today's theme.

But I choose bricks. Tiny little bricks. Made by LEGO®. Who doesn't know these interlocking toy bricks? Lego produces them since 1949, 75 years next year. And they are still going strong.
